Healthy BRAIN

Changes to your body and brain occur with aging and illnesses. As life expectancy increases, more people are concerned with protecting cognitive function and lowering the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease or other dementias.

Studies have identified brain markers, such as plasmalogen, that are decreased in the aging brain, and in Alzheimer’s patients.

  •  Plasmalogen is a type of phospholipid that is abundant in the brain. It is an important neuroprotective substance that protects brain neurons from oxidative stress.

Altheda’s Healthy Brain Supplement contains a natural marine source of plasmalogen that, when used in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle, helps to maintain brain health and cognition1-3.

Healthy VISION

The eyes are the “window to the world”

Healthy vision and functional eyesight represent a key component in the quality-of-life equation.

Common age-related eye diseases, if left untreated, can lead to temporary, partial, and in some cases permanent vision loss. These include: age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.

Altheda’s AREDS2 ocular supplement provides evidence-based nutraceutical support for healthy vision as you age.

Healthy SKIN

The skin is the largest and most visible organ in the body and plays a multitude of vital roles. These include: functioning as a protective barrier and the first line of defense against environmental stressors, thermoregulation, and communication to the immune and nervous systems.

With age, skin fragility is increased while elasticity and resilience decrease. These changes culminate over time and lead to greater susceptibility to trauma, infection, and delayed wound healing.

Altheda’s dermal protection provides a natural solution optimized for your skin’s health to enhance healing, prevent infection, and maintain the integrity of skin barrier function throughout all stages of life.

Healthy immune system

Age-related changes in our immune system can result in inflammation (inflammageing) and increased susceptibility to infection and metabolic syndrome, including type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. 1-2

Altheda’s team are developing innovative Health Canada approved products to boost the aging immune system, improve metabolic responses, and enhance the overall health span of older adults.

Healthy urinary tract & Bladder

Bladder problems can disrupt day-to-day life. Common bladder problems include urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, and urinary retention.

Bladder problems disproportionally affect women throughout their life and increase with age in men and women.

Altheda’s PhytoCran+  provides oral supplementation for long-term bladder health by harnessing the anti-inflammatory and anti-infective power of nature’s phytochemicals, including terpenes and cranberry, in a unique bioavailable oral supplement.
